Beast Heart book one: Call to the Beast Inside (chapter four)

Sorry I haven't posted in a while!!! I've just been SO busy!! -_-
Anyways here's chapter four of my book/fanfiction Beast Heart:

Tiger grabbed her jacket and tied it around her waist. Midg then came hovering in, followed by a boy with half his hair light brown and the other half dark brown. He was the same age as her, thirteen, and he wore a black jacket, blue long-sleeved shirt, and dark blue jeans.
“Jake!” Tiger said as she saw the boy walk into the room, “You heard me talking to them didn’t you?” her hazel eyes got a look of pure sadness and loneliness in them.
“Yeah I did,” Jake said as he put a hand on his friends shoulder, “Why didn’t you tell them your real name?”
“There’s to much going on in my life right now,” Tiger replied as Jake removed his hand from her shoulder, “I don’t need any more chaos.”
“Do you remember when we first came here?”
“Yes...but what does...”
“You always imagined what you would do if you ever got the chance to be a hero with magical powers,” Jake’s voice with calm and smooth, “You’re the one who got me all into mythical creatures, magic spells, and all of that stuff. Yet when that opportunity came...”
“I know,” Tiger said; interrupting Jake, “I chocked...I lied and told them my name was Tiger...when that’s my nickname, between us and Teresa.”
“Tiger...” Ora and Midg had stayed quite up until now.
“What’s wrong with a little more chaos?” Midg asked as Ora elbowed him in the side, “What? Chaos doesn’t ruin your life, it makes you stronger...”
“Just be happy you haven’t seen the real me...” Tiger stammered as she remembered how it was at her old school.
It hadn’t been that long since she had got her Beast Heart and had convinced her parents to let her transfer to the training academy...course she had told them it was a boarding school. She missed her old friends; she missed running the mile every Thursday; she missed her sister and family; and surprisingly she missed her rival at the school. The only friends that had come with her to the academy were Jake and Teresa, and that was because they too had Beast Hearts. The day she had left to go to the academy wasn’t long after her friend had moved back to Manteca...thinking about that just made Tiger sad. She couldn’t believe she missed where she used to live, but she did. She also missed her cat, dog, and tortoise; they were all like her babies and yet she couldn’t have brought them along with her.
“Hey, Tiger,” Jake said; braking the silence, “Let’s get going, Teresa is waiting for us.” “Okay,” Tiger replied as she walked off with Jake, Ora, and Midg following from behind.

Beast Heart book one: Call to the Beast Inside (chapter three)

Here's chapter three of my book/fanfiction: Beast Heart! ^_^
Enjoy

Bobby finally let go of Clint’s arm. Clint looked around, when all of a sudden Mark came out with Conner following him. Conner stopped when he noticed Clint. The two of them just stood there starring at each other, when finally Mark broke the silence.
“So is this the new boy I’ve heard so much about?” Mark asked Bobby as he got all up in Clint’s face.
Bobby just grabbed Mark with two fingers and pulled him away as he replied, “Yes.” When he let go of Mark, Mark looked over at Conner. Conner was still as a stone; his eyes were wide with amazement as he starred at Clint. Clint’s eyes were also wide with amazement, but a little hint of fear. He didn’t know what to make of the scene. Bobby just elbowed Clint a little and said, “Look alive.”
Clint was about to protest when he heard a jingling noise. It sounded like the bells you hear around Christmas time. Clint just walked away from Bobby and the two Guardians and walked toward the noise. Conner looked at Mark, then Bobby, and then Clint; he swallowed deeply and then hovered after Clint.
The noise had taken Clint and Conner straight to a golden door. The sign said training in progress, but Clint still slowly opened the door just to the point if a crack. He and Conner looked in through the crack and saw a brown haired girl. She was wearing an orange short-sleeved shirt, and a black skirt; in the corner of the room was a purple jacket, which Clint figured belonged to the girl. Around the girl’s wrists and ankles were the things making the noise, they looked like bracelets, but Clint wasn’t sure.
The bracelets jingled as the girl danced around the room. Most of the moves she was doing with only her hands or feet, sometimes both. Her hazel eyes shinned as a smile came to her face.
Wow, Clint thought as he starred at the beautiful dancing girl, She’s really good. She’s putting her whole soul into it. How can she be so focused? Clint then heard a thud, and saw the girl fall onto the ground. The girl sat up and started to rub her ankle.
“Tiger are you okay?!” asked a Guardian Soul, it was Ora.
“I’m fine,” replied the girl as she took off the bracelets and stood up; she then put a purple bracelet on her right arm, “Ora I would really prefer if you call me by my...” she was interrupted as the door swung open.
“Bobby!” Conner snapped as Clint looked behind him and saw Bobby and Mark.
“It’s rude to spy!” Bobby snapped back at the two.
“I...I wasn’t spying!” Clint stammered as Tiger and Ora walked over to them.
“Then what were you doing?” Ora asked as she raised one eyebrow at Conner, “Conner, are you getting the new kid in trouble on his first day?”
“WHAT?!” Conner’s mouth hung open as Tiger, Ora, and Mark started to laugh.
“So you’re a new kid?” Tiger asked as Clint’s cheeks went beet red, “Cool!”
Bobby noticed how Clint looked and pulled him away saying, “Sorry we interrupted you Tiger.” Bobby closed the door behind them and pulled Clint, “A little piece of advice: don’t go after Tiger. She already has her heart set on somebody. I’m sorry Clint, but you can’t compete with him...he already has his Beast Heart.”
“Beast Heart? What exactly is a Beast Heart?” Clint asked as Bobby thought hard then looked down at the boy.

“Let’s just say you’ll know when you find it...”

Beast Heart book one: Call to the Beast Inside (chapter two)

New day = New chapter!
Here's chapter two of my book/fanfiction: Beast Heart!

Niño hovered over from Mel’s shoulder to a tiny door and opened it up. He then went through the door and closed it behind him. Niño looked around and saw a bunch of other humans miniature sized, just like him.
“Alright Guardian Souls gather around!” he ordered as all of the other guardians gathered around him, “There’s a new boy, and he needs a Guardian Soul...”
“But all of us are already guarding people,” interrupted one of the guardians, it was a red haired boy named Mark; he was always interrupting Niño, “Well all that is except for one. The biggest brat, pain in the neck, not to mention the most selfish, carefree, and down right stupid Guardian Soul...”
Everybody sighed and at the same time said, “Conner!”
“Yeah,” Conner said as he entered the room.
“I called a Guardian meeting,” Niño pointed out as Conner yawned, “And all Guardians get a message whenever it’s time for a meeting!”
“Yeah I got the message,” Conner said as he plunked himself on the coach, “But just because I got it doesn’t mean I’m going to come.”
“What kind of dust was that kid made from?” a guardian named Ora asked as Niño walked over to Conner.
“Who knows,” replied a boy named Arctic as he looked at Ora, “Who knows?”
“Why wouldn’t you come?” Niño asked as Conner shrugged his shoulders.
“Changing the subject,” Conner said as he sat up and then stood up. Niño just crossed his arms and waited for Conner to speak, but this time when Conner talked he didn’t sound as confident and full of pride as he did before, he just simply stammered, “Who am I going to be pared up with this time?”
“Oh yeah!” said a winged guardian, Pin, as he pointed out “You’ve guarded several people and yet with every single one you’ve failed and their Beast Hearts ended up being destroyed.”
“Pin,” spat a guardian named Midg, “You don’t have to point that out...Conner already knows how bad of a Guardian Soul he is...”
Conner just stood there, his head low. He didn’t dare look up to see how Niño was looking at him; he already knew how disappointed Melady and Niño were in him. Guardian Souls were normally made out of a special kind of powder they called dust. Melady had taken much time off of her daily life and even off of High School to create Conner. Normally the creating of a Guardian Soul was done in front of everybody so the guardian would grow up knowing everybody, but Melady created Conner in secret, only Niño knew about it. Melady used a special kind of dust to create Conner; she had once called it the dust from the remains of the last Dragon Ultra Warrior. Also, unlike the other guardians, Conner grew up isolated; Niño would train him with everybody else, but not allow him to talk with anybody, and once that was over Melady normally came to take him with her.
“Conner,” Niño said as Conner snapped out of his memories and finally got up the courage to look at Niño, “It’s not your fault what happened to those kids...it’s more mine and Melady’s fault. We chose you for those kids because we were so busy and got a little lazy at making Guardian Souls. As you know a Guardian Soul has to be the complete opposite of a person...well let’s just say this new kid is your complete opposite, so you might want to get ready. You’re going to be meeting him very soon!”
“What?!” Conner bolted out of the door as Niño turned and looked at all the other Guardian Souls.
“Enough standing around!” he ordered, “Find your Beast Heart and start training!”

“Sir yes sir!” the other Guardian Souls replied as the left the room.

Beast Heart book one: Call to the Beast Inside (chapter one)

Hey ya'll what's up?!
I'm about to post a chapter from one of the books I'm writing Beast Heart (tm).

I hope ya'll like it! Please don't steal it! This is basicly one of my fanfictions! ^_^
Here it is:

Clint looked around; everything was different then what he was used to. The walls were covered in ivy, and pictures of plants, animals, and elements were hanging from the ceiling. The lights flickered in an eerie way. An icy cold chill went down Clint’s back as he sat down on a satin chair. The chair might have been made of satin, but it was old and broken. Clint wiped his finger across the arm of the chair and then looked at his finger; it was covered with so much dust that you couldn’t even see his skin. Clint just stuck his tongue out in disgust and wiped the dust off of his finger with a tissue.
Finally someone walked into the room; it was a sixteen year old boy. He had brown hair and dressed like he was a rich king.
“Come,” the boy said as he reached out to Clint and grabbed him by his arm. The boy tugged on Clint’s arm until he got up and started to walk, allowing himself to be pulled by the boy.
The boy led Clint threw an ivy covered door and into a room completely sealed off by plants. It was as if the room was abandoned for years allowing plants to thrive, yet Clint could see signs that someone had been living there recently. Sitting down on a surprisingly brand new chair, was a grey haired lady. She was about eighteen years old, yet she looked like she was the boss of this strange place.
“Hello,” the woman said as she stood up and walked over to Clint; she then looked at the boy and said, “Thank you, Bobby. I can take it from here.” Bobby bowed down to the woman and then walked off, but before he left he whispered into Clint’s ear, “Try to look alive...oh and you might want to talk a little bit.” Clint just cleared his throat nervously as Bobby closed the door behind him.
“So, your name’s Clint right?” the woman asked as Clint nodded his head nervously yes, “My name’s Melady, but you can call me Mel.”
“O...k...a...y” Clint stammered as he looked up at the woman.
“Well don’t worry,” Mel assured him as Clint got a confused look on his face, “You’ll do fine at the academy!”
ACADEMY???? Clint thought as he stared at Mel, Nobody said anything about an...
“Is something wrong Clint?” Mel asked interrupting Clint’s thoughts; Clint hesitated, trying to find the words.
“To be honest...” he started, “Nobody told me anything about an academy...Actually nobody even bothered to tell me why I was here...”
“Then why did you come?”
“I was tricked,” Clint replied as his eyes got misty, “They said my dad wanted to see me...my dad’s been sick for about three years. He used to be a police officer and one day...” he didn’t want to say anymore, but Mel urged him on, “One day someone poisoned a bullet,” tears started to fall from Clint’s eyes, “Everybody warned him not to go in, that the guy was skilled with poisons and toxins, but dad wouldn’t listen to them. He said that the guy had to be taken out, and the he was the man for the job...so he went in, and,” Clint didn’t want to say anymore, but Mel just put her hands on the thirteen year old’s shoulder’s.
“And what?” Mel knew Clint didn’t want to say anymore, she could tell he was remembering and picturing the image in his head, but in stead of comforting the boy she urged him to go on.
“He shot the bullet, and it hit dad right in the,” Clint started back up again with the same pain feeling like he had gotten shot in the heart, “It hit him right in the heart. Dad normally didn’t take me with him on police duty stuff, but he had just picked me up from school and we were on our way home when he got the call. He told me to stay with the other policemen, but I didn’t listen. I followed him and when the man looked at me it caused dad to look at me. I distracted him! He got shot cause of me!” by now Clint was on his hands and knees sobbing, “I haven’t seen my dad in three years, and when they said that the hospital sent them so I could see my dad, I didn’t care whether they were strangers or not...I just wanted to see my dad...He was the only family I had left...”
“That’s what you think,” Mel whispered, but Clint heard her and stood up.
“What do you mean?!” Clint snapped as if expecting an answer right away.
“Should I tell him, Niño?” Mel asked a little, miniature human pocked his head out from behind Mel’s. The little boy was about the size of a doll, in fact he fit perfectly into the palm of Mel’s hand. Besides his small size, he looked about thirteen. He also acted like Mel’s complete opposite.
“Na!” Niño replied as he stuck his tongue out at Clint for no good reason, “He’s going to find out soon anyways. I mean really, isn’t he going to get a Guardian Soul soon?” Niño then covered his mouth, “Oops!”

“Oops is right!” Mel said her voice still calm though, “Anyways, why don’t you just see if you like it here okay?” Clint reluctantly nodded in agreement, “Bobby!” Mel called out. Bobby then opened the door and walked in. Once again he bowed down to Mel and then pulled Clint out of the room by the arm.
